FY 2022 Maryland Prescription Drug Affordability Fund Assessment Information

Invoices for the FY 2022 Maryland Prescription Drug Affordability Fund have been mailed to each entity’s address of record.

If your entity does not receive an invoice by October 15, 2021, or if you have any other questions about the invoice process, please contact Board staff by e-mail at support.pdab@maryland.gov.   1. You may pay the assessment by sending a check with a copy of the invoice to:

    made payable to the Maryland Prescription Drug Affordability Board. Please reference the invoice number and indicate the purpose of the payment as FY 2022 PDAB Fund on your check.

  2. You may ask the Board to waive the assessment if the fee assessment exceeds 1% of your revenue earned in Maryland during your preceding fiscal year. To request this waiver, complete the To request this waiver, complete the Request for Waiver form (last updated 10/22/2021), and submit it with the required supporting materials, such as your corresponding Maryland tax form.

  3. You may ask the Board to grant an exemption from the assessment. If you believe that your entity is not subject to the assessment because it is not a qualifying entity under COMAR 14.01.01 and Health General § 21-2C-11(b)(1)—for example, you do not provide “health insurance policies or contracts” in Maryland, you no longer do business in Maryland, you manufacture only animal products, or any other reason—you may complete the Request for Exemption form (last updated 10/22/2021) and submit it by e-mail to support.pdab@maryland.gov or by mail to:

  4. You may ask the Board to update its contact information for your entity. If your entity’s contact information or address has changed, or if you believe the Board does not have accurate contact information for your company, you may complete the Change of Contact Information form (last updated 10/22/2021) and submit it by email to support.pdab@maryland.gov or by mail to:
